2For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

Trying to Figure Things Out BY OUR OWN SCHEMES; God has everything already Worked Out; 

2. LET US START

Trying to understand WHAT GOD REQUIRES OF US - Proverbs 3:5-6.

Who is the wise man who may understand this? And who is he to whom the mouth of the Lord has spoken, that he may declare it? Why does the land perish and burn up like a wilderness, so that no one can pass through?

The Lord said, "Because they have forsaken My law which I set before them, and have not obeyed My voice, nor walked according to it, but they have walked according to the dictates of their own hearts 

The sons of Issachar had understanding of the times — Jesus rebuked His generation for not discerning the times; and Paul admonishes us to know the times in Romans 13:11-14. . . 

And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.

Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

PROVERBS 3:5-6

"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."

They that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit

Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

Those who do not know God will live in very confusing times and Jesus says to you His disciples: "you are the light of the world"

The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple. 

Psalm 119:130 

3. LET US CONTINUE - THE REMEDY

Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, Let not the mighty man glory in his might, Nor let the rich man glory in his riches; But let him who glories glory in this, That he understands and knows Me, That I am the Lord, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight," says the Lord.

THE MARKETPLACE is where exchange happens through trade. Fairness in the market is based on demand. A good marketer will learn how to create and manipulate demand. 

WHAT IS VALUE?

Unlike the exchange of goods and services, in the marketplace of ideas it is not just demand but belief that creates value; here the influencer will seek to change beliefs.

Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

"God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him"

What is the difference between having and being? Is being wealthy just about having wealth?

If Being is belief and having is behavior or action; then, what the wealthy believe could be just as or more important than what they have.

DEMAND SAYS: "I want it now"

BELIEF ASKS: "Why?"
