May 21st - a mockery?

The Old Testament is
confusing to some peolpe
because it is filled with
'fear inducing' incidents.

Jesus quoted from it.
It has things that seem
difficult to us regarding "acts of God"....
the same God who Jesus called His Father.

My attitude, is fearful
when I recognise mockers
...of "THE FATHER"

The only ligitimate FEAR
for me is THE FEAR OF GOD.

Hebrews 1:2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe...
He said in John 12:48 There is a judge for the one who rejects me and does not accept my words; that very word which I spoke will condemn him at the last day.

2 Peter 3:3 knowing this first, that in the last days mockers will come, walking after their own lusts...

2 Peter 2:10 This is especially true of those who follow the corrupt desire of the sinful nature and despise authority. Bold and arrogant, these men are not afraid to slander celestial beings

Scoffers - In Jude 1:18 the same Greek word is rendered "mockers." The word means those who deride, reproach, ridicule.
