REMOVING "the beam"
from my own eye . . .

1. Do I believe that living by careful biblical standards and speaking against "worldliness" is 'legalism'?

"For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;"
‭‭Titus‬ ‭2:11-13‬ ‭

2. Do I believe that although I am saved by 'free grace' I am also saved "unto good works"?

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them."
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2:8-10‬ ‭

3. Do I believe that it is 'excessive' to continually look at my life to avoid even "the appearance of evil"?

"Quench not the Spirit. Despise not prophesyings. Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
Abstain from all appearance of evil."
‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5:19-22‬

Am I a 'Pharisee' if I am always emphasizing the importance of scripture?

"All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.

But he that is greatest among
you shall be your servant."
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭23:3, 11‬ ‭

THE PRAYER
Lord please forgive the bitterness that I have against the HYPOCRITE.

I confess my own hypocrisy now.

I ask that you would "CREATE in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me . . . Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee." in Jesus name I pray,

AMEN.
