34Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.

Why the Philistines hated Sampson

He was empowered by The Spirit.
The Philistines came with human ingenuity, everytime.

They hated the idea that there was someone they could not own control or defeat.

The devil hates the idea that he CANNOT control the Christian. It's that bad. Being a Christian is war in every sense.

1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

9Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

10But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
11To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
