NEW YEAR MUSINGS

https://biblehub.com/romans/14-1.htm

We have in our 'head' a "picture"

of who the other person is.

We have mental pictures of all the people we 'know'.

They also have 'pictures' of us.

These pictures are being

constantly updated as we have new experiences.

This ongoing process is for the most part private. Some people refer to the process as 'JUDGING' and sometimes a great deal of anxiety can be associated with the idea of judging.

We also have a 'picture' of ourselves, self-image.

QUESTION: How does the picture that 'they' have of you differ from the picture that you have of yourself?

Does it matter? Why or why not?

• Let every man be fully

persuaded in his own mind.

• none of us liveth to himself,

and no man dieth to himself

• Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
