THE SOLUTION?
If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do? - Psalm 11:3
Psalm 1:4 "The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away"
THE WORLD IS RUN BY "THE COUNSEL OF THE UNGODLY". If most of the so-called science that is the foundation modern secular society is under the control of ungodly persons, why would God's people expect righteous outcomes?
1 John 2:15 "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him."
The Bible clearly teaches that the secular (ungodly) world operates by lusts and pride. The Christian is COMMANDED not to "love" the world.
Godliness & Worldliness . . .
are and will forever be in conflict.
Matthew 5:13 ""You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men."
Is the Christian task to point to the only way of "redemption" & restoration of the godly influences of "righteous", born-again individuals lighting the world and salting the earth?
Isaiah 58
"they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in."
