THIS WEEK

1. Do you have some slow leaks in your life right now–or maybe some gushers?! I want to look at the energy leaks in our lives–the things that cause us to lose physical, mental and spiritual energy. The things that drive us into burnout and stress city. You know, you may have an energy leak and not even know it. ......MORE from The Christian Working Woman <-click here
2. Soak yourself in the scriptures. Your mind is like soil. It will sow any seed you sow into it, good or bad. When you sow words spoken by GOD into your mind, you are sowing energy, life, light and hope into yourself. His word is like a spiritual vaccination that strips satan of his power against your life. - Murdock <-click here"Unless Thy law had been my delights, I should have perished in mine affliction..." Psalm 119:92

3. You need to learn how to be positive. By this I mean positive in line with God's plan and purpose. I am not talking about the power of positive thinking just as some kind of esoteric regimen. That is good, but it is not good enough for us to achieve what God would have us to achieve.
This is the point I want to make. Thinking positively is always better than thinking negatively, and it will put you in a better frame of mind to accept what is going on around you. However, it will not change your circumstance. On the other hand, the power of positive confession, in line with God's Word will change your circumstances in a positive way.
Jesus said, in Mark 11:23:
"For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.
That means you will have the negative as well as the positive. If you do not want the negative, you had better stop saying the negative. - Frederick K.C. Price

4. (JIS-Kingston) Thousands of Jamaicans turned out on Monday, September 8, at the Norman Manley International Airport and along the route into Kingston, to welcome home triple Olympic Champion and double World Record holder, Usain Bolt. The Golden Boy of track and field made his much anticipated return to an atmosphere fit for a King.
Prime Minister Bruce Golding headlined the list of dignitaries who gathered to meet him at the Airport. 'Usain has demonstrated that we can be the best in the world and he has demonstrated that in a way that nobody else has done,' the Prime Minister said in an interview with JIS News. 'His performance is so extraordinary that although Carl Lewis and Jesse Owens both secured three gold medals individually, none of them brought home three world records and Usain Bolt has done that. He is undoubtedly one of the greatest athletes of all time,' Prime Minister Golding added. - Courtesy GM Young-Martin

5. Happy moments, praise God..
Difficult moments, seek God.
Quiet moments, worship God
Painful moments, trust God.
Every moment, thank God. - Courtesy Doctor Ruth Gordon- Martin

6. ANGELS EXIST,
but sometimes, since they don't all have wings
we call them FRIENDS, SUCH AS YOU. - Courtesy Faith Jordan-Martin

7. There are people in your life that are there only to bother you. These people are in your life to keep you on your knees. These people are in your life because they are apart of the problem and the solution. These same people will help catapult you to your destiny!
