I once heard an older man say

think truth, you are
IN ERROR".

We elevate ourselves with our reasonings. We make ourselves. We are our own god. We use our words to create 'realities' that become our world. IDOLATRY is when we think that the reality that we make is all there is. I can only know what I know. You can only know what you know. There is no need for me to convince you of anything or vice versa. Feel free to tell your story.
