There is a "putting on" that is hypocritical

Because it is

wrongly motivated

It is pretending

However

There is no doubt that

I need to be 'covered'

Is Naked Ron

Or inappropriately clothed Ron 'acceptable' to God?

NO NO NO

"Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them."

"I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness"

This is not

Hypocrisy or

Pretend

This is faith

"Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering"

These are not

AUTOMATIC

I have to

'PUT THEM ON'

Mere praying will not get this done, this takes a conscious deliberate act of will - this is OBEDIENCE

Meekness

Mercy

Kindness

Humbleness

Patience

Do I get up every day

fully 'dressed' with these?

Let the family testify!!

put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;

And be renewed in the

spirit of your mind;

And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
