logging off

I was logging out of my email when this caught my eye so I am just going to go ahead and get this out of my system.....AMERICAN IDOL !!! ??? it is very entertaining .....and popular with most folk....but from the begining the title just rubbed me the wrong way....IDOL....every alarm in my foggy old mind was going off....they made us memorize a whole bunch of stuff when we wuz kids...some of the stuff we had no clue what it meant....but now as we are older this stuff is morphing into reality and spoiling the fun....SIGMOND FREUD (sp) called it the SUPEREGO...I think...others speak of reflective consciousness.....KONCHENCE (conscience).....consciousness or awareness of evil....said the Psalmist...Thy words have I hid in my heart that I may not sin against Thee.....Psalm 119:11 1 John 5:21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols. A Good Gig Thursday, May 21, 2009 More rambling from "Primetime in No Time" host Frank Nicotero: "American Idol": This will definitely be considered an upset when we look back in a few years, right? I think it was a pretty great show. Anytime you can get Kiss and the remaining members of Queen on stage, I would call it a great show. But seriously, was Rod Stewart sleep walking? Whew! I'm finally done covering "Idol"... but here comes "So You Think You Can Dance." My work is never done...I do it for you, the people.
