Why do I do what I do? Jesus invites me to be a servant.   In todays competitive world...self-interest seems to be the main motive. Christ says I reject HIM and HIS teachings whenever I am selfish.   we don't always see the results of our selfishness some recent news stories helped me to see.   today on the news a woman used almost 4 thousand dollars of her own money and was arrested she set up an awards ceremony to give the nursing associations nurse of the year award...to herself !!   I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. Matthew 25:43   earlier this week a man with legal weapons caused several people to die - he killed them...it was said that he had felt rejected.   Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. John 15:16   a co-worker has surgery today called me late last evening fearful about "going under" I had to "go under" once before IT IS SCARY...there is no guarantee that you will wake up !!!   Please Pray today.
