Demographic Realities

what a president says should indicate what the president knows and
what the president knows is colored by what the president believes.
decisions will be shaped as much by facts as by beliefs.

So what did the president say?
America is no longer (JUST) a christian nation.
Is this a statement of fact or mere wishful thinking?
Maybe the president knows something that we don't know.
My suspicion is that many a true american will be in for a rude
awakening once the results of the next census are in.

It may be true that america was founded on christian principles, but what was true in 1776 is hardly true today. Furthermore the founders did warn that in order for the union to be sustainable the founding principles would have to be maintained.

In a free society one must come to grips
with the reality that along with
all the other freedoms we also have
the freedom to destroy ourselves.

IF I WERE PRESIDENT....I am thinking
So will we have to resort to Sharia economics in order to correct the destructive practices of wall street bankers? What about the abortionists? If average 'christian america' wants to reduce its population through legalized abortions, why try to stop them, 'muslim america' has no such intention as the most recent population trends in Europe clearly show.(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6-3X5hIFXYU) What about homosexuals? Very few Muslims will support homosexual "family values" and feminist thinking may not be the favorite of most Mullahs and Imams especially not the Taliban. Although I am not a muslim, I am a very thoughtful guy and if I have to choose between being president of a backsliden out-of-control, drunk-on-freedom, christian nation; maybe my chances would be better with decent self-respecting muslims. (not the so-called radicals)

More than 150 years ago, French statesman Alexis de Tocqueville came to America looking for the secret of its greatness. He wrote:

I sought for the greatness and genius of America in her commodious harbors and her ample rivers — and it was not there … in her fertile fields and boundless forests — and it was not there … in her rich mines and her vast world commerce — and it was not there … in her democratic Congress and her matchless Constitution — and it was not there. Not until I went into the churches of America and heard her pulpits flame with righteousness did I understand the secret of her genius and power. America is great because she is good, and if America ever ceases to be good, America will cease to be great.

When we left off being the great christian missionary emancipators....we became the great satan because we abandoned the founding principles.

Christians are followers of Christ, this is what He said:
you (my followers) are the salt of the earth (however)
if the salt loses its saltiness, it is GOOD FOR NOTHING...
but to be thrown out and walked on like dirt.
