The summons is served by the sherrif If there is no appropriate response then the warrant is issued the case is called by the judge the jury is seated the judge is seated the court is called to order the charges are read plea is entered witnesses are called by the prosecution more witnesses are examined by the defense sidebar summary prosecution rests defense rests jury admonished jury retires court adjourns court resumes jury reads the verdict judge rules THE SENTENCING the marshalls escort the defendant these were done from memory they may be wrong...but close enough |
