The usual walk home from the Aenon Town Primary School, St Ann, for Shirlene Campbell one afternoon in 1957 became an experience that would to this day change her life forever - and not for the better.
Campbell, who visited THE STAR's offices recently, said, on that fateful afternoon as she made her jolly way home, a dynamite explosion on the Cuffy Ridge road almost took her life.
"I'm 52 year old now, sir, I was nine at the time," she said. "But I do remember that after the explosion, a lady by the name of Olga took me to the hospital at the time. I was there for over a year."

** Vaughn Allen Clark is a native of Dublin, Georgia. he says "The Church will have to take a stand or join the growing throng of beguiled antichrist disciples, striving to build an earthly kingdom along with the "great brotherhood of man" to usher in the "golden age of mankind". Americans are gullible as a whole."

These people are idiots. Rio De Janeiro is one of the most dangerous cities one could go to. Especially around the favelas. Im Brazilian, I know, the people there are getting poorer and the rich are getting more corrupt.Americans have no idea what really goes on in Brazil, especially Rio, so when they go they could end up getting kidnapped, murdered, or robbed. Rio is beautiful and amazing, but its still dangerous. The poverty rate is ridiculous, I wouldnt consider this happiest city on Earth.

Heaven is better than this
O my !! what joy and bliss
to walk those streets
of shining gold
in that land
we'll never grow old
Heaven is better than this
O my !! what joy and bliss
I love the singing and
the testimonies too
but heaven is better
than this!!!
