•two•

This hymn was sung at the wedding of the future Queen Elizabeth II of Britain, in Westminster Abbey, London, 1947.

1 Praise, my soul, the King of heaven;
to his feet your tribute bring.
Ransomed, healed, restored, forgiven,
evermore his praises sing.
Alleluia, alleluia!
Praise the everlasting King!

2 Praise him for his grace and favor
to his people in distress.
Praise him, still the same as ever,
slow to chide, and swift to bless.
Alleluia, alleluia!
Glorious in his faithfulness!

3 Fatherlike he tends and spares us;
well our feeble frame he knows.
In his hand he gently bears us,
rescues us from all our foes.
Alleluia, alleluia!
Widely yet his mercy flows!

4 Angels, help us to adore him;
you behold him face to face.
Sun and moon, bow down before him,
dwellers all in time and space.
Alleluia, alleluia!
Praise with us the God of grace!

TWO EXPERIENCES?

"the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh"

"there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding".

"he awoke out of his sleep, and said, I will go out as at other times before, and shake myself. And he wist not that the Lord was departed from him."

Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy
holy spirit from me.

This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

ACCOUNTABILITY
Armies are effective because of the firmness of the "command chain".

Other organization forms are less responsive because of the 'looseness' of their communication structure.

In 'building' a team, planning is vital.

For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?

Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.

Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand?

Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace.

I know God will use you
mightily. I have lived
a while and have
seen many crash
and burn.

I am praying that God will strengthen
and keep you and bless your ministry as only He can.
